With an average temperature of 450°F, Metal Halides work against the cooling system, causing the system to kick on more often and for longer periods of time. The average temperature of an LED fixture is 78°F, significantly lower then Metal Halide. By switching out traditional Metal Halide fixtures to LED fixtures, you can save up to an additional 30% in cooling costs on top of the energy saved related to lighting.
